After 2 in the US, Synchrony picks Hyderabad for its biggest experience centre yet
Synchrony has opened its largest global experience centre and innovation station in Hyderabad, its third facility of this kind after two in the United States.
Synchrony already had two experience centres running in the United States. Now the US financial services company has opened a third, and its largest yet, at its Hyderabad campus, in a nearly 6,000-square-foot facility that signals a deeper investment in India’s place in its technology and enterprise strategy.
The Hyderabad centre is designed as an immersive space where employees, customers and partners can engage directly with Synchrony’s products and technologies through interactive customer journeys and virtual reality demonstrations, covering real-world use cases across health and wellness, home and auto, lifestyle, digital and diversified value platforms.
An innovation station sits alongside it, giving employees room to work with emerging technologies, build prototypes, test ideas and take part in innovation challenges and hackathons. Together, Synchrony said, the two spaces are meant to drive collaboration, continuous learning and cross-functional innovation.
Florin Arghirescu, executive vice president and chief technology officer, said the move reflects confidence in India’s talent and its role in technology, AI and enterprise platforms at the company.
Rachana Bahadur, senior vice president and country head for India, said the facility has been designed to serve more than 6,000 colleagues, helping teams link their day-to-day work with the impact it has on customers.
