Rajasthan’s VDO Recruitment Wraps Up: RSSB Declares Final Result for 850 Posts
RSSB declared the VDO Final Result 2026 for 850 Village Development Officer posts on 24 June 2026, with a merit list and category-wise cut-offs now published.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has declared the VDO Final Result 2026, bringing the recruitment cycle for 850 Village Development Officer posts to a close. The result was published on 24 June 2026 at rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
The result comes as a final merit list carrying the roll numbers and names of provisionally selected candidates, along with category-wise cut-off marks. RSSB’s approximate vacancy distribution runs about 300 General, 200 OBC, 170 SC, 120 ST and 60 EWS posts, adding up to 850 — figures the board has described as approximate ahead of the exact official breakdown.
To check the result, candidates go to rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, find the Results or Recruitment section, open the VDO Final Result PDF, and search for their roll number using Ctrl+F.
Alongside the result, RSSB shared indicative cut-off ranges (out of 300 marks): General around 210-225, OBC around 195-210, SC around 180-195, ST around 170-185, EWS around 195-210, PwD around 150-165, and Ex-servicemen around 160-175 — described explicitly as expected ranges based on past trends, not final confirmed figures.
The selection process paired a written exam — General Knowledge, Rajasthan GK, Reasoning, Maths and Hindi — with merit-based shortlisting. Selected candidates now proceed to document verification, where they must present their admit card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, graduation certificate, category certificate, domicile certificate and photo ID.
RSSB, headquartered in Jaipur and also known as RSMSSB, handles recruitment for Group B and Group C posts across Rajasthan’s state government. The VDO role is central to rural administration, tasked with implementing development schemes at the village level, and typically attracts a very large applicant pool.
